Our Story:

The Fresh Helmet idea originates from my daughter’s horse back riding efforts. As a serious rider, she took several lessons a week and participated in horse shows a couple of times a month.  In the English riding discipline riders wear helmets which can cost up to $400.  With frequent riding, it wasn’t long before her helmet really started to smell from the perspiration as did the trunk where the helmet was stored.

We asked around about what we could do to help eliminate the smell, and after finding that helmet odor was a common problem, we were told to try spray air fresheners in the helmet or try a fragrance filled cache. But this only masked the smell; it didn’t get rid of it.  As soon as she rode again, the odor was back. This is when the idea of a Fresh Helmet product started to form.  I didn’t want something that would mask the odor; I wanted something to neutralize the odor.  Active carbon was the answer and brought Fresh Helmet a step closer to being born.

The Fresh Helmet pouch is available in 3 sizes and can be customized to fit your needs. We offer a helmet size for equestrian types, football players, or motorcyclists. Our Gym Bag size relieves your sweaty totes of unpleasant odors, and our Equipment and Locker size can handle bigger jobs to tackle even the heaviest used sporting goods.

Fresh Helmet also offers two styles of pouches; a sack and an envelope. The sack style has a snap on top. The envelope style has a snap in the middle and resembles tissue dispensers with the opening down the center. The shape of each style offers a better fit for your equipment needs; allowing you to select the best option for your sport or use.

Your Fresh Helmet pouch can be an original and unique accessory all your own with our customization options like unique fabric selections, colors, or prints. Add your initials or team mascot with embroidered stitching. And finally, decide if you need a strap to lock your Fresh Helmet in place.
